摘要：The invention relates to a method of surface-treating inorganic particulatesolids, more particularly titanium dioxide, in an aqueous suspension, the particles beingsurface-coated while the suspension is conveyed through a stirred mill. The method ispreferably used in order to coat titanium dioxide particles with SiO2. The inventivelytreated particles have a very smooth, uniform and coherent shell and a significantlyenhanced tinting strength.
