Written Work P187
Write briefly on how Mr。 Budd came to suspect the customer。 简单写一下巴德先生是如何开始怀疑那个顾客的.
Bit by bit Mr。 Budd found the man met the description of the wanted man: he was large; he had an upper tooth filled with gold, and a damaged left thumb。 His hair was not silver—grey as was the wanted man’s。 But the man admitted that it had been grey before it was dyed, and he wanted to have another color。 Like the wanted man, he had a beard and he wanted Mr。 Budd to shave it off。 What’s more, he tried to hide his left hand after reading the newspaper that had the murderer's description on it。 When he quickly pulled his hand back, he looked up sharply at Mr. Budd. That look finally convinced the barber that his customer was the man wanted by the police。
