摘要：A method is provided for managing services provided by devices in a homenetwork. A home network apparatus manages information related to services providedby all devices in a home network, and requests from a second device a substitute service
capable of substituting for a service of a first device when the first device fails to providethe service. Accordingly, when a device from which a user requests a service cannotprovide the service, the user does not need to directly search for a different device andagain request the service from the different device.
