A successful experience in my memory
Last summer vacation , I proved myself in an English Talent Show ,and it was because of my hard work .
I spent all my free time preparing for the competition .When I waited for the bus ,when I brushed my teeth,and even in my dreams ,I was still practicing the English speech . I took a English dictionary with me ,so whenever i thought of a better word ,i would look it up and replace it .During that period of time ,every single second seemed precious like pearl to me.
Time flew fast ,the day of the competition finally came. In order to cheer myself up, I said to myself ,the result pf the competition is not necessary ,as long as you put your heart in it ,you are successful . After taking a deep breath ,I walked to the stage ,step by step ,confidently .
To my surprise , i got the first prize in that competition and i would represent Shanghai to take part in the national competition in Beijing . I was quite proud of myself when i heard it. I think i will never forget this successful experience . NO pain,no gain ,we all should be confident about ourselves.
A successful experience in my memory
There is a successful experience in my memory. And I believe it will never disappear in my memory.
It happened last term I got frightened when our teacher told us that we would have an 800 metres test. And we only had two weeks to practise. But my best record could not even pass that test. So I had to practise every day to make myself run faster and faster. It was so difficult for me that I couldn’t finish running 800 meters at a time. But the teacher told me the end was over there and what I should do was keeping running.
“It’s easy!” said the teacher, “Believe you!”
After being encouraged, I started again and I could keep running without stopping half way at last.
The test came soon, I was successful in passing it by telling myself not to give up all the way.
That’s it, one of my successful experiences. It tells me that you won’t be more powerful without practice. And you will also fail on the way of approaching success if you give up.
