The
ULN2003isamonolithichighvoltageandhighcurrent
Darlingtontransistorarrays.ItconsistsofsevenNPNdarlingtonpairsthatfeatureshigh-voltageoutputswithcommon-cathodeclampdiodeforswitchinginductiveloads.Thecollector-currentratingofasingledarlingtonpairis500mA.Thedarlingtonpairsmaybeparrlleledforhighercurrentcapability.Applicationsincluderelaydrivers,hammerdrivers,lampdrivers,displaydrivers(LEDgasdischarge),linedrivers,andlogicbuffers.
TheULN2003hasa2.7kΩseriesbaseresistorforeachdarlingtonpairforoperationdirectlywithTTLor5VCMOSdevices.
